A Manchester United fan has been arrested after a police officer had his hat knocked off in the Stretford End. The 38-year-old, who was ejected from Old Trafford, was held on suspicion of assault of an emergency worker during Saturday's 2-1 victory over Brentford. He has since been bailed and may well face a football banning order if found guilty. Footage widely shared online shows a man in a white United away shirt, who appears to be arguing with two police officers.
