Billie Jean King is one of tennis most iconic and successful figures in history, but has an idea or two about how to protect the game's future. King - for whom the Billie Jean King Cup is named in honour of - won 39 Grand Slam titles in a 22 year professional career including 12 singles titles, 16 in women's doubles and 11 in mixed doubles. Away from the court she has long led the conversation about, and drive for, greater equality in the sport, and founded the Women's Tennis Association (WTA).
