Mercedes have confirmed that Mick Schumacher will leave the team at the end of the season after two years as their reserve driver. The 25-year-old, who is the son of Formula One great Michael, joined Mercedes in 2023 as back-up to Lewis Hamilton and George Russell having lost his spot on the grid with Haas. He had driven for Haas between 2021 and 2022, finishing 19th in the world championship in 2021 - despite scoring no points - and 16th in 2022 with 12 points to his name.
