Nearly 40 Premier League players are just one yellow card away from being suspended over the Christmas and Boxing Day gameweek. All 20 top flight teams will be in action on December 26 and 27, meaning they will need to train on Christmas Day. However, there are a large number who could see themselves take no part in those games having already received four yellow cards this season. Players who receive a total of five yellow cards in their first 19 matches will be given a one-match suspension.
