Alex Mitchell has come a long way from the days when he'd drive a Suzuki Wagon into training at Northampton. That was a proper old banger of a car and he used to get torn to bits for it by the players at Saints. Now, he's England's first-choice scrum-half by some distance, hanging around in South Kensington nightclubs, and swapping shirts with Antoine Dupont. I'm pleased for Alex – who I know as 'Mitch' from our days playing together with the Saints – because he always had the talent to be a top international.
