Dave Portnoy blasts 'disrespectful' ESPN for 'lazy' pregame move ahead of USA's 4 Nations defeat to Canada
Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy blasted ESPN's social media team over a false equivalency for Thursday's thrilling 4 Nations final in Boston. Prior to Team Canada's 3-2 overtime victory over Team USA, ESPN paid homage to its parent company, Disney, but running a clip from its 2004 film, Miracle, which depicts the underdog Americans' famed upset of the Soviet Union at the 1980 Lake Placid Games. The film builds to a crescendo with a pre-game speech by Team USA coach Herb Brooks, who is portrayed by Kurt Russell.
