A tearful Emma Raducanu was reduced to cowering behind the umpire's chair at the Dubai Open after it became apparent that a man who had previously 'exhibited fixated behaviour' towards her was seated in the front few rows during her second-round meeting with Karolina Muchova. The rain-delayed contest was just two games old when the 22-year-old approached the umpire Miriam Bley in visible distress, apparently offering a few brief words of explanation before retreating behind the umpire's chair, where she was consoled by her Czech opponent.
