Missing girl is found alive a year after vanishing in chilling doorbell footage
A missing Georgia teenager who vanished over a year ago has been found alive in another state, days after her mother pleaded for her safe return. Asata Amun, 16, was last seen in doorbell footage fleeing from her father Kwabena Amun's home while barefoot, following an alleged altercation between the two in February 2024. In a shock announcement this week, the Gwinnett County Police in Georgia revealed that Asata had been 'in the custody of the Tennessee Department of Children's Services since February 2024 under an alias.
