Mom featured on Netflix's Unsolved Mysteries for 'kidnapping' son, 7, faces more charges
A bespectacled Rabia Khalid, her hair pulled back and parted in the middle over prison scrubs, told a Colorado court she could hear virtual proceedings as she appeared from custody in Douglas County Jail on charges related to her son's kidnapping and more than half a decade on the lam. Khalid, 40, was arrested on February 23 alongside her husband and co-defendant, Elliot Blake Bourgeios, 42, after seven years on the run with the son she kidnapped, Abdul Aziz.
