With the sport's origins tracing back to the UK, it was fitting that the world's best riders converged in a clash of nations at the Matterley Basin Grand Prix track in Winchester. The rainy conditions didn't detract from an exhilarating atmosphere as fans from all over the globe cheered their respective countries to glory in what proved to be a historic event.
