Aaron Rodgers sent message by New York Giants after signing rival quarterback Jameis Winston
The New York Giants are not completely backing away from signing Aaron Rodgers despite signing quarterback Jameis Winston from Cleveland. According to the New York Post, the Giants signed the 31-year-old on a two-year deal worth $8million. However, the move came to pad the depth chart as they hope to remain an option for the 41-year-old Rodgers. The Post's Paul Schwartz noted that 'The Giants still want him and will not close the door on him, even after the Winston signing.
