Ted Lasso fans divided over newly announced season 4's plot twist: 'It just won't be the same'
The surprise announcement of a new season of the hit series Ted Lasso had fans cheering and jeering - with some panning the show's planned plot twist as 'woke.' Star Jason Sudeikis confirmed the he was writing the series' fourth season, during a conversation on the latest episode of Jason and Travis Kelce's New Heights podcast. 'Ted's coaching a women's team, so there, that's it,' he revealed. Lasso, the American football-turned soccer coach played by Sudeikis, had coached fictional Premier League team AFC Richmond in the first three seasons of the show.
