
FDA recalls popular cheese brand in four states over possible metal contamination
The FDA has issued a recall for over 4,000 bags of a popular cheese sold at Aldi over fears of possible metal contamination. Aldi's Happy Farms Colby Jack shredded cheese has been recalled after fragments of stainless steel were reportedly found in the product. The cheese is only being recalled in four states, Connecticut, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania. The move was initiated by the manufacturer, Great Lakes Cheese Co. Inc.
