
White Sox fans furious at team's response to cancer-stricken hero Bobby Jenks
Baseball fans are calling out the Chicago White Sox to help former World Series Champion Bobby Jenks amid his hardships. The 44-year-old former White Sox and Red Sox player, who now manages the Frontier League's Windy City Thunderbolts, recently lost all of his possessions except 'one suitcase' during January's Los Angeles wildfires. Last month, the legendary pitcher revealed he was fighting cancer but was determined to overcome it. But now, a press release has emerged that he is doing an in-person signing to raise funds to cover medical bills which is expected to be his last public appearance.
