Customers outraged over 'very weird' new restroom rule at Wendy's
Customers are outraged over a new rule requiring employees at Wendy's to hand their phones to managers before using the bathroom. The existence of the rule has emerged after a worker at a Florida restaurant posted it on social media, but it has emerged it applies nationally to all 6,000 US locations. The employee, known as 1jvj3 on Reddit, said they discovered the sign while working a shift. 'I just feel very weird about this rule and feel like it's an overstep of boundaries on their part,' the employee wrote in a March 30 post.
