Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent warned America's trading partners that 'doing anything rash would be unwise' in response to Donald Trump's tariff program. US stocks plunged in after-hours trading after President Trump announced broad tariffs starting at 10 percent — with much higher rates for certain countries.
