Terrifying tornado outbreak across America's heartland as six states are issued very rare weather warning
A series of tornadoes tore through the Midwest Wednesday evening, destroying homes, toppling powerlines and even overturning tractor-trailers on major highways. There were at least 15 reports of tornadoes spanning at least six states, with damage reported in Missouri, Michigan, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Indiana. The most substantial damage was reported in Arkansas, where three different twisters had touched down. A tornado emergency was even issued in the state, with the National Weather Service warning residents on X: 'This is a life threatening situation.
