Aubrey Plaza asked for a welfare check on her late husband, Jeff Baena, months before his death. According to the medical examiner's report obtained by Us Weekly, Plaza, 40, said she had a friend check on Baena's well-being in October 2024, one month after they quietly separated. (Plaza confirmed to the examiner that she and Baena separated in September 2024.) Baena made concerning remarks which prompted her to call a friend to perform a welfare check on her husband, the report read.
